Guidance for startups.
Perspective for teams.
Design & Product Strategy without the overhead.

Subscription-based senior design expertise to unblock product bottlenecks, UX/UI clarity, and better decisions.

For product & design teams

Even the best teams suffer from product blindness. I offer a clear outside perspective to reveal blind spots, ask sharper questions, and help your work go further — without disrupting how you work.

Good design expertise isn't cheap, but it's more affordable than you might think.

I believe in full transparency. Here's exactly what you get and what it costs — so we're aligned before we even talk. In addition to a plan, you can always extend hours based on availability — extra flexibility when you need a push in a given month.

I'm not competing against full-time hires — I'm an addition to close gaps and bootstrap startups. Learn more about the real cost of hiring full-time.

But why subscription in the first place? Well, a major difference to classical freelancing is that my work is not project based, but product based. Digital products always have a start but never an end — and my continuous work on the product from the outside improves it on a steady basis.

In the end, the subscription is just a more modern approach to part-time consultancy, without the overhead and hassle.

Here are a few more ways this model can bring clarity and momentum to your team.

01

Senior design without the full-time commitment

Get strategic product design when you need it — without hiring overhead, delays, or management.

02

Outside perspective that sees what your team can't

Break out of the product tunnel. I help you spot blind spots, simplify complexity, and move with clarity.

03

Design that thinks beyond the screen

I combine UX, product, and business thinking — so what we design doesn't just look good, it makes sense for your users and your goals.

04

Designed to plug in — not take over

I guide, unblock, and elevate your team. Whether you're solo or scaling, I adapt to your setup.

05

I'll tell you what others won't

I'm not here to please stakeholders — I'm here to serve your product. That means asking harder questions, challenging weak assumptions, and calling out what's not working — respectfully, but clearly.

06

Making sense of complexity

I help make sense of what you've built — and shape it into something users actually understand.

07

Asking the right questions

I ask the uncomfortable questions, so you don't waste weeks on the wrong solution.

08

Supporting designers

I guide and support them with reviews, feedback, and structure — without you becoming a design manager.

09

Tightening the user experience

I help tighten the UX and reconnect it to your users when things feel clunky or unclear.

10

Regaining perspective

I bring fresh perspective and help reset priorities with clarity and calm when you've been in the weeds too long.

Frequently Asked Questions

I have collected a few questions I get asked a lot. If you have any other questions, please get in touch.

Very well. I'm not here to replace your team — I'm here to strengthen it. Sometimes that means guiding a junior designer, unblocking a PM, or giving feedback your team might not be seeing. Outside eyes are often what sharpen internal design.
As many as you want — but everything is worked through one at a time, within the time commitment of your plan. That's how I stay focused, deliver thoughtful work, and avoid the chaos of a task queue.
Yes — because I'm not starting from scratch. With 15+ years of experience, I've learned how to spot problems fast, ask the right questions, and guide decisions quickly. You don't need 40 hours a week. You need clarity at the right time.
That depends on the plan. It can range from UX feedback and product thinking to hands-on design work like flows, screens, and prototypes. I don't write production code — but I can work closely with your devs to ensure smooth handoff and design logic.
Yes — we always start with a one-time Kickstart Sprint. It gives us both time to align, understand your product, and see if this is a good fit. You'll walk away with real insights whether or not we continue.
You can always add extra hours on top of your plan, based on availability. This keeps things flexible without locking you into a retainer.
Hiring takes time, budget, and commitment — and often comes with pressure to "fill hours." My service gives you senior-level design when you need it, focused only on what matters, without the overhead. It's lean, clear, and built for progress.
Both. Most of my communication is async (Notion, Slack, Loom, Figma) so I can stay focused. We also have regular live check-ins depending on your plan — and I'm happy to join strategic calls when needed.
Not as a default. My model is ongoing, product-based support — not one-off project delivery. The Kickstart Sprint is the only standalone engagement; after that, plans keep momentum without project handoffs and scope creep.

"Keven is one of those rare product designers who truly get it — not just from a UX or UI perspective, but holistically, across product strategy and visual identity. He doesn't just make things look good — he makes them work."
